Lidé kolem Olomoucké dílny iniciovali v rámci projektu komunikaci a pomáhání si mezi dříve neznámými sousedy z Olomouce. Potkávají se na dílně, kde spolu pracují na různých projektech (třeba na seřezávání dveří, výrobě prahu, rámečků na obrázky, police, botníku, na rekonstrukci nábytku…). Pro práci na dílně pořídili pro sousedskou komunitu pásovou pilu a pro práci mimo dílnu vrtací kladivo. Lidé, kteří stroje využívají, jsou průběžně zaškolováni personálem dílny, aby se stroji mohli pracovat bezpečně. Dílna, její vybavení i okruh uživatelů se neustále zvětšuje.
