Na jaře byla v programu Místo, kde žijeme, který se zaměřuje na přeměnu veřejných prostranství, vybrána k podpoře čtyři místa – jedním z nich jsou i jihomoravské Chudčice. Nedílnou součástí programu je inspirativní cesta za jinými, už zrealizovanými veřejnými prostranstvími. 12. září 2020 se proto ve vnitrobloku v Křídlovické ulici v Brně sešlo osazenstvo několika automobilů z Chudčic.
Sraz tu měli zástupci realizačního týmu s projektovou manažerkou Nadace Via. Rozhodli se společně strávit den a projít si zajímavé veřejné prostory v Brně, aby společně načerpali inspiraci pro chystanou proměnu prostoru u fotbalového hřiště v Chudčicích. Většina navštívených prostor vznikla participativním způsobem, tedy s velkou mírou zapojení místních občanů do rozhodování o jejich podobě. Některé z navštívených míst se zase umístily na předních pozicích v soutěži Park roku.
